Our co-ordinator will normally be in the office during the hours noted above. Some of these hours may be "closed" in order to meet with members or perform confidential work. If the office is to be closed at any time during regular office hours (e.g., offsite meetings or duties, illness or vacation), a notice will be posted on the Community Centre door.

The Milton Schuett Award

The co-op relies on the participation of members to function effectively. In 1999, the Board of Directors decided to recognize those that had made outstanding volunteer contributions to building the co-op community. Originally called The Above and Beyond Award, the award was later renamed The Milton Schuett Award to commemorate the passing of Milton Schuett, one of its first winners. Winners receive a certificate signed by the Board, have their names posted in the Community Centre (as well as here on the website) and get to wear "Winner" stickers at co-op General Meetings.
